Kate Mullock is a botanical artist based in South West London working in the Cyanotype medium. Taking inspiration from the natural world and her love for bringing the outdoors in, Kate creates natural compositions using real plants, leaves and flowers on textured Cotton Khadi paper. The Cyanotype print process creates a beautiful soft graphic image of the botanical subject in creamy white against a painterly background in stunning shades of blues, teals and aquas. No two prints are ever the same and all pieces are one of originals.

This print was made using stems of freshly cut Hydrangeas from the garden which I arrange in a natural composition following the shape, direction and movement of the cutting. It is a one off, one of a kind piece with colours, flowers and leaves created by the unique conditions in which it was created
