A modernist-style painting of warm terracotta reds and bold smudgy greens, but with plenty of balancing cool pink and whites. A painting with which to sit for a moment before the heat of the day returns. A surprisingly adaptable work.

Claire is a Norfolk based artist who studied at the Norwich School of Art, and the Universities of Oxford and Lancaster. A synaesthete with a particular sense for colour and sound, she uses music as a starting point for many of her bold, abstract paintings.
